Toppers Pizza. Feed the Need.
Toppers Pizza was founded in 1991 in Champaign, Illinois, and their first advertisement simply read, “Buy Our Pizza, Damn It.” As the Toppers franchise expanded, their marketing lost its bold persona. The strategy: rebrand the pizza franchise to make it more relevant and refocus on Toppers’ fanatical college market with fun and irreverent marketing.
